TWO men have been charged with possession of cannabis after being arrested on consecutive nights.
The arrests were both made in the Goodwyns area of Dorking last weekend but were unconnected.
Ricky Blanco, of Flint Hill Close, Dorking, was arrested at 6pm on Friday night.
Karl Lowry, of Kingston House Gardens, Leatherhead, was arrested at 9pm on Saturday night.

40 firefighters battle house blaze
A home in Oxshott has been left severely damaged after a fire broke out late last night.
Firefighters from across Surrey were called in to tackle the blaze, which broke out in a large detached home in Oxshott Road.
The occupants of the house returned home to find the fire raging, shortly before 11pm on Thursday. Eight pumps were called and at its height, between 30 and 40 firefighters were battling the blaze. It was finally put out at 4am, but crews remain on scene this morning.

Surrey Police officer suspended over driving offences
A police officer has been suspended from duty pending an internal disciplinary investigation after appearing in court on a number of driving offences.
Officer David Fisher, 25, of Epsom was disqualified from driving for 12 months at Crawley Magistrates Court today (Tuesday) after totting up a number of penalty points for incidents on May 19, June 17 and June 22 this year.

Halogen lamp causes house fire
FIRE wreaked havoc on a Redhill home after a halogen lamp caught fire.
The flames destroyed the lounge of the home in Hatchlands Road, in the early hours of Friday morning.
The only resident, a man, had escaped by the time fire crews arrived.
Three crews fought for six hours to bring the fire under control and ventilate the house using breathing apparatus to gain entry.

A24 crash victim named as 20-year-old Dorking woman
THE woman who died in yesterday's collision near Capel has been named by police.
Shelby Gillespie-Boarer, 20, of Hart Road, Dorking, was killed on the A24 just north of Kingsfold when the Nissan Micra she was driving collided with a Ford Focus at around 7.29am.
Both drivers were cut from their vehicles by firefighters, but Miss Gillespie-Boarer was declared dead at the scene.

Crash closes M23
FIREFIGHTERS closed the M23 motorway close to the M25 junction after a car left the road.
Shortly after 7.30 am on Saturday a vehicle spun off the M23 and crashed into the embankment close to the junction with the M25.
The driver was not injured but a fire crew from Godstone closed the motorway for half an hour while they recovered the vehicle.

Deaf man unaware of flat fire
A DEAF man was not aware of a fire in his flat because he could not hear the alarms.
The 92-year-old, who lives in Durham Court, Leatherhead, was not aware of cooking burning in his kitchen until his whole home began to fill with smoke.

A car fire cause long tailbacks on the M25.
Delays are now beginning to ease off following the blaze close to the junction with the M23 at around 5pm today.
Two people had got themselves out of the BMW but were treated for smoke inhalation at the scene.
The anti-clockwise route was subject to long delays stretching back to junction 9 as firefighters battled the flames.
