WORKERS and fliers at Redhill Aerodrome are in shock this afternoon after a pilot died there in a crash earlier today.
Witnesses looked on in horror as the light aircraft's engine appeared to cut out and it plummeted to earth shortly before 12.20pm.
A huge emergency operation was launched but the male pilot was pronounced dead at the scene.
