A PILOT has died after his plane crashed at Redhill Aerodrome today.
The crash happened shortly before 12.30pm at the aerodrome in Kings Mill Lane, South Nutfield.
The microlight aircraft crashed nose-first into the turf.
Ambulances, fire crews and police rushed to the scene but the male pilot, the only person on board, was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.
