Detectives from East Surrey are appealing for information after a car stocked with a sledgehammer, pick-axe, ladders and screwdrivers crashed into a fence in Redhill.
It is believed the discovery could relate to a series of burglaries in East Surrey in recent weeks.
Officers were first called to Redstone Hill, Redhill, at about 6.30pm on Saturday following reports of a person "acting suspiciously" in the back garden of a house in the area.
