SMALL explosions could be heard as a car caught fire in Nailsworth Crescent last night.At around 9pm, residents in the Merstham street were shocked by a series of bangs which rocked the evening calm.Shortly, the body of the small car, parked just off the main road, was largely consumed by flames.
