HEAVY thunderstorms and torrential rain are currently affecting parts of the south east and at 9.20am today (Monday) were perilously close to Reigate and Redhill. The most vicious downpours were just to the south and west, affecting East Grinstead and south towards Brighton. Earlier they were over parts of Guildford and to the west of Dorking.
