POLICE have described a JCB digger fire in Outwood last night as "suspicious".
Two fire crews were called to the vehicle at the Lloyd Hall building site in Brickfield Road at 11.45pm.
Firefighters from Reigate and Horley stations arrived to find the excavating vehicle on fire.
Pumps and hose reels were used to extinguish it and Surrey Police were called.
A Surrey Police spokesperson said the incident occurred between 7pm yesterday (June 17) and 12.20am today (June 18).
