Fire crews were called to a flat in Castle Drive, Reigate today (Friday), after a tumble dryer caught fire.
Reigate fire crew attended the scene at 2.30pm, but reported the tumble dryer has already been extinguished on their arrival.
The dryer was removed from the property, and the resident plus her puppy and adult pug dog managed to leave the flat unscathed.
