A terraced house was 60 per cent destroyed by fire in Whyteleafe.
Three fire engines attended the scene in Godstone Road at 7.30pm last night (Thursday, December 12).
Firefighters from Godstone, Purley and Epsom, used six breathing apparatus and three hose reels to put out the fire.
The fire destroyed 50 per cent of the first floor and ten per cent of the ground floor.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
