The M23 has reopened after police were called in due to the "concern for safety" of a man on a bridge above the motorway.
Traffic was halted on the M23 beneath, not far from the M25 on-slip. However, in the last five minutes, police confirmed the man had been brought to "a place of safety".
Traffic is now running on both carriageways of the motorway.
