THE River Mole in Leatherhead became a possible crime scene on Friday afternoon after a dog walker spotted a man's body floating in the water.
Emergency services were called to the river at Thorncroft Drive following the grim discovery just after noon.
Police have launched an investigation but the identity of the victim - understood to be a man in his 60s - and how he may have died, are not yet known.
